Your First Visit

Before you visit us for the first time, we do ask that you take the time to complete our New Patient Forms before you arrive. The information you provide on these forms will be extremely helpful in ascertaining the root of your condition and the path of your treatment.

When you arrive at our office, you will be struck by the friendly and caring nature of Dr. Strubbe as he discusses with you your problems and history and begins to take a closer look at your particular problems.

When both you and Dr. Strubbe are satisfied that he has a good idea of your problems, any significant past medical history, and any other important factors, Dr. Strubbe will then do an in-depth evaluation with emphasis on neurologic problems. It may very well be the most in-depth evaluation you have ever had at a doctor's office, whether it be a chiropractor or medical doctor. Because of his years of experience and extensive training, Dr. Strubbe will do a very specific evaluation.

When Dr. Strubbe has finished with the evaluation, he will discuss his findings and diagnosis with you. He may deem it appropriate for you to be treated with physical therapy. Dr. Strubbe uses multiple types of physical therapy—Interferential Electrical Muscle Stimulation, Ultrasound, Diathermy as well as hot packs or ice packs, These are all scientifically designed to produce specific effects on the human body and will be used according to the nature of your problem. There is a therapy suite outside the examination and treatment room. The therapy suite is divided into individual sections where, if therapy is performed on you, it will be done in a way that will completely respect your privacy.

There is also a separate room for massage, and often Dr. Strubbe feels it is necessary for patients with certain conditions to receive massage. There are many indications for massage and there are also several different types of massage that can be helpful for a wide variety of conditions. Many of the auto injuries that Dr. Strubbe sees respond very well to massage therapy. There is a licensed massage therapist on staff at Dr. Strubbe's office, and this licensed professional has worked with Dr. Strubbe for years as well.

Coming to Dr. Strubbe's office for treatment of an injury is the best move you can make. You will be cared for in a professional and caring manner. You will be impressed with the friendly and warm attitudes of the entire staff at Dr. Strubbe's office. Most of Dr. Strubbe's patients say that it is by far the friendliest and most helpful doctor's office they have ever visited. They also feel quite comfortable referring their friends and relatives to see Dr. Strubbe because they are confident that they will be well taken care of and will be thankful for the help they receive.
