Dr. Strubbe's office is on the corner
of Park Boulevard and 57th Street. It is a pleasant beige
color with blue trim and the sign out front says Dr.
Strubbe, Chiropractor. There is ample parking directly off
of 57th Street behind Dr. Strubbe's office. It is easy to
get in and out.
As
you enter the front door you will notice the pleasant
decor and the warm feel of the office. The first person
that you will see is Marie who is the front desk person
and office manager. She will cheerfully greet you and
answer any questions that you may have. She will also
assist you with any paperwork that needs to be filled out
or any insurance questions that you may have. Marie has
been doing this for 12 years and is very
knowledgeable on the subject.
Much of the hassle and intimidation of going to a new
office has been eliminated at Dr. Strubbe's office by
Marie's cheerful nature and long experience in dealing
with the forms and insurance requirements.
After Marie has helped you, you will
then see Dr. Strubbe. Dr. Strubbe will want to spend some
time with you and discuss your health problems--how they
began, any significant past medical history, auto injury
or other trauma and many other things that could play a
part in your health care.
Out of all
the doctors I've seen, Dr. Strubbe is the best
Chiropractor I've ever encountered. His adjustments are
perfectionism and his patient side manner is so
comforting--which helps in the healing process also. He's
kind and a very warm human being. He's the best!
...Lisa M.
Dr.
Strubbe has been a practicing chiropractic physician in
the Pinellas Park area for the past 15 years and has
considerable experience in all the aspects of
chiropractic care.
he has spent years
studying the Functional Neurology and is currently Board
Eligible in Neurology. He has also devoted a great deal
of time to the study of trauma as it relates to Auto
Accidents and to the most effective treatments for these
types of Injuries, and treating both auto accident
injuries and the neurology of the human body.
You will be struck
by the friendly and caring nature of Dr. Strubbe as he
discusses with you your problems
and history and begins
to take a more in depth look at your particular problems
caused by the auto accident.
When both you and Dr. Strubbe are
satisfied that he has a good idea of what your problems are,
any significant past medical history, and any other
important factors Dr. Strubbe will then do an in depth
evaluation with emphasis on neurologic problems. It may very
well be the most in depth evaluation you have ever had at a
doctor's office, whether it be a chiropractor or medical
doctor. Because of his years of experience and extensive
training, Dr. Strubbe will do a very specific and in depth
evaluation. Using
state of the art, cutting edge neurologic approach that
includes mapping your blind spots, checking your Vestibular
Ocular Reflexes and your Optokinetic Responses which give
valuable information on brain function and the overall state
of your nervous system.
I have
been a patient with Dr. Strubbe's Office for several
months and absolutely love and look forward to coming to
the office. I appreciate the courtesy, kindness, and
exemplary services provided by the staff and the doctor.
After my visit, I feel much better ... Maria

When Dr. Strubbe has finished with the
evaluation, he will discuss his findings and diagnosis with
you. He may deem it appropriate for you to be treated with
physical therapy. Dr. Strubbe uses multiple types of
physical therapy-- Electrical Muscle Stimulation, Ultrasound, Diathermy
as well as hot packs or ice packs,
These are all scientifically designed to produce specific
effects on the human body and will be used according to the
nature of your problem. There is a therapy suite outside the
examination and treatment room. The therapy suite is divided
into individual sections where, if therapy is performed on
you, it will be done in a way that will completely respect
your privacy.
There is also a separate room for
massage and often times Dr. Strubbe feels it is necessary
for patients with certain conditions to receive
massage. There are two licensed massage therapists on
staff at Dr. Strubbe's office and these licensed
professionals have worked with Dr. Strubbe for years
as well. There are many indications for massage and
there are also several different types of massage that can
be helpful for a wide variety of conditions. Many of the
auto injuries that Dr. Strubbe sees respond very well to
massage therapy.

Coming to Dr. Strubbe's office for
treatment of an auto injury is the best move you can make.
You will be cared for in a professional and caring manner.
You will be impressed with the friendly and warm attitudes
of Dr. Strubbe and the entire staff at Dr. Strubbe's office.
Most of Dr. Strubbe's patients say that it is by far the
friendliest and most helpful doctor's office they have ever
visited. They also feel quite comfortable referring their
friends and relatives to see Dr. Strubbe because they are
confident that they will be well taken care of and will be
thankful for the help they receive.
...very
friendly staff that works well with everyone. Excellent
professional work that truly makes a difference,
affordable caring, comfortable office where no one waits
like the long times at other doctor offices. I've
recommended Dr. Strubbe to many people and everyone was
very pleased with the treatments and the
results....Diane B.
If you are experiencing neck pain, Dr.
Strubbe will discuss your neck problem with you and its
cause. Most often neck injuries are related to automobile
accidents and what is termed an acceleration/deceleration
injury. Dr. Strubbe, after having discussed the
automobile accident and the specific details of that with
you will then begin to do the examination. The examination
will consist of a visual observation of your appearance and
the different aspects of muscle tone in your neck and upper
back. Dr. Strubbe will palpate your neck and upper back to
check for spasm and for tenderness in these areas. He will
check to make sure that your nerves are functioning
correctly by checking your reflexes and sensitivity. He will
also check to make sure you have not sustained a mild
traumatic brain injury, which are quite common with the type
of automobile accidents that people are normally involved
in, using state of the art neurologic testing that includes
Vestibular Ocular Testing and Optokinetic
Responses.
If the cause of your neck pain is due
to an automobile accident, it is also very likely that Dr.
Strubbe would want to take x-rays to help further evaluate
the area. The complete evaluation of all of your injuries is
done in the initial room where the examination is done. This
eliminates the problem of having to go to a hospital to get
x-rays done or having to go to a different room in the same
office.
Once the exam is completed Dr. Strubbe
will present his findings and recommendations. He may
determine that it will be helpful for you to have some type
of therapy and/or massage. Conveniently, both are available
in the office. A treatment plan is formulated specifically
for you and your individual condition.
This plan may include many
strategies.
